Diagnostic Microscopy

We examine cells (from your pet) under a microscope to determine the state of your pet’s health via molecular means; through blood/urine/skin smear preparation, analysis, and interpretation using our in-house laboratory. In some cases, the veterinarian may share the view under the microscope with you, providing a clearer understanding of your pet’s condition and explaining findings in real time. This approach helps illustrate the diagnosis and ensures you feel informed about your pet’s care.

What to Expect:

  • Sample Collection: Depending on your pet’s condition, we may collect samples such as blood, urine, or skin smears.
  • Analysis: Samples are prepared and examined under the microscope, allowing us to identify abnormalities such as parasites, infections, or cell changes.
  • Explanation and Results: The veterinarian will explain the findings, and may show you the sample under the microscope to help you better understand your pet’s condition.
  • Next Steps: Based on the results, we will recommend appropriate treatment options or additional diagnostic tests if needed.

Diagnostic microscopy plays a key role in accurately identifying health issues, enabling timely and effective care for your pet.
